Part of the esteemed VKS Group, founded in 1940 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Sri Chakra is a pioneer in packaging solutions with a strong legacy of innovation and excellence. We were South India’s first-ever PVC lamination film manufacturer in the 1980s under the brand AG Polymers, and we continue to lead the industry with cutting-edge extrusion technology.

As one of South India’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of PVC films, multilayer films, LDPE shrink films, HDPE films, POF films, and stretch films, we operate four advanced extrusion plants and over eight high-speed pouch-making systems.
Our Packaging Automation Division offers high-speed automatic shrink systems, tunnels, and custom-designed conveyor systems, along with custom-made rolls and pouches tailored for these machines.

Management and Team

Our Founder: Mr. V. Guruswamy Nadar (VKS)

Sri Chakra Group of Companies was founded on the vision of Mr. V. Guruswamy Nadar, fondly known as VKS. He was the founder of VKS Sweets and Biscuits and established VKS Group in the early 1940s, expanding into various FMCG sectors. His entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for a legacy of excellence, trust, and innovation.

Mr. G. Subramanian B.E Chemical Engineer

Mr. G. Subramanian B.E Chemical Engineer from Annamalai University started AG Polymers and successfully entered PVC Lamination film production in the early 1980s, first of its kind in South India. The plant received vast customer support in South India and the legacy has been carried forward and expanded to greater heights by Mr.Ganesh Aravinth 3rd Generation entrepreneur under the guidance of his father Mr. G. Subramanian.

Under the visionary leadership of Mr. Ganesh Aravinth, Sri Chakra has become a trailblazer in the packaging industry. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from PSG College of Technology, Mr. Ganesh Aravinth combined technical expertise with entrepreneurial spirit to establish Sri Chakra Traders in the early 2000s. His unwavering commitment to innovation laid the foundation for the Sri Chakra Group’s exceptional growth. Today, as the head of Research & Development, he continues to lead the charge in developing groundbreaking, customer-centric solutions—setting new industry benchmarks and driving the future of packaging. His leadership has been instrumental in driving the company’s expansion into multiple specialized divisions:
